FREE Intro into Art Therapy

We will be starting a new art therapy group on Monday evenings. This is a free introductory session to see if it’s for you!
“I have no artistic talent” – not a problem. Art Therapy is about the **process** not the finished product. We will not be making art to proudly display on your wall. We will be using the process of art to wordlessly process emotions, events, feelings for your private art therapy journal.
“I need prompts, I can’t just come up with something” – Not only will I be giving you prompts and projects but I will be teaching you the “language” of art and color.
“I am afraid of being vulnerable in front of a group” – We all are, and it’s ok. You will not be required to “share” anything. However these group therapies are closed groups. Once one is made, new people will not be added. These groups quickly become your safe space. But that’s the beauty of art therapy – words aren’t needed. (but welcome if you would like to share)
What does art therapy address: emotional processing, help with anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, anger chronic pain.
“How often do we meet?” That’s up to the group. The current group is meeting every two weeks and I do my best to make it affordable by including discounts on sessions and any other of my art classes you would like to attend.
It’s FREE, but please register so I know how much supplies I need. Come, relax, learn and make some art that will make you feel better. ![]()
