This month we will be telling lies with our paint brush. I will be teaching a perspective technique that tells a story – a story that says there is a lot more detail than we are actually painting. Our brain sees what is up close and automatically sees the similar thing farther away by making the assumption that the detail is the same. This is a great technique for landscapes, grass, flowers and in this case, a dandelion.

The dandelion is a perfect end of summer painting.
